i just took the spring off removed the steel seat, and the larger spring, then put it together with the little one in place and it feels great and solid.

![]() ![]() ![]() Just got the spring, its about 1 loop longer than the stock, but as far as I can tell there are no adverse affects here as the stock was unloaded when the pedal was fully depressed, that is still the case here but the smaller spring still has some tension now. This spring is 75% softer than the factory spring and initial impressions are exactly what you would expect, it provides a marginal amount of assistance but you retain the lateral support like stock. You can still feel the pressure plate just not as well as with no spring at all. I'll put a few miles on it later on just to be sure but so far I'm happy with the rate, if you hated the stock spring this will still feel much better. I've tried contacting AK because I'm not sure if I need a vendor membership to sell these, the only reason I'm playing middle man at all is to get the discount on bulk ordering. I'll setup a new group buy thread later on with exact pricing (about $15-18 shipped) and carry over the existing list of members and order springs tomorrow. |

Just popped out my stock spring and it was a breeze! I'll drive it around a few days until I get my new lighter spring from the group buy.

dont worry I got everyone who paid! I'll order more and work on better pricing if there's still interest, it has died down a lot though after the initial GB but I certainly was not expecting so many people to want one, apparently the dissapointment in the clutch pedal is wide spread
