High oil Temp... It finally happened to me

I too have experienced high oil temps. Whats the best oil cooler out there, what would you guys recommend I go with ?

Is anyone running an oil pan spacer as well??? I'm thinking of doing this come spring time along with the cooler and wanted to here what some guys with it thought of it.

i thought about doing that about a year ago but the spacer makes the pan hang down lower which i really didnt want..especially being lowered.

I tried it(RP ice), didn't do anything. That was before I changed to their oil. I can't say if that will help.

after switching to Synthetic I have noticed that the oil runs cooler. Anyone else notice this?

I hope just by running amsoil, temps get cooler. Any truth to this?

Switched to RP and have the RP ice in coolant as additive. Same temps so the only thing left is an oil cooler unfortunately. Next spring I guess I will have to decide what brand.

An oil cooler definitely would have helped this situation, but oil cooler or not, when keeping it above 5,000 RPM while traveling at a max of 45 MPH, you have to expect the engine to get hot with the small amount of airflow happening at that speed.
