clutch pedal issues?

It sounds like your clutch fluid need replacing. The soft pedal condition can happen if you have air in the system or if the fluid is past it's boiling point

It sounds like your clutch fluid need replacing.
The soft pedal condition can happen if you have air in the system or if the fluid is past it's boiling point and that can cause the symptoms you've described. Sometimes if the clutch fluid has absorbed water or seen too much heat once too often, the boiling point of the fluid drops dramatically and will start to vaporize in the line and lose the hydraulic properties of the fluids. The best recourse is to flush and replace the clutch fluid with a quality brake fluid with a higher boiling point. Clutch fluid is the same stuff as brake fluid, if you were wondering.

Hope that helps
