1st gear clutch?

its from pushing in the clutch pedal too quickly at low speed. happens at low speed in 1st, and 2nd (even third at very low speeds) if you just STOMP

You will eventually find the sweet spot to stop the clunk. I haven't clunked in a long time. It used to happen every time when I first got the car.

I find that getting up to 3500rpm and going into second usually prevents it from happening. Or shifting to second at a really low RPM, like under 2000.

It is something that really bugged me before, but now I rarely hear it. Just going up my steep *** driveway sometimes when I push in the clutch in the garage. Can't really help it there.
