The problem isn't when I am shifting to 2nd gear its right in between. The moment I press the clutch the car kinda slams. Like I thought at first I was just bad at shifting so tested. While driving in first and i just press the clutch when it was at 3000rpm to see what happens and it slams. Like as if I am driving in fifth gear and slamming the clutch.

If you stick it in 1st gear & drive off till 3000rpm, clutch in fully and you feel a slamming motion, then I'd think there's something wrong with your car. Does it do the same thing with & without synchro rev? Maybe it's interfering in some way?

My car is base and does not have the syn rev so I shouldn't worry about that.

So my question is then... when in first gear at 3000 rpm when u press the clutch u shouldn't really feel slamming... right? Like if you just press it and not let go... shouldn't feel any slamming sensation... right?!

The car should just continue to drive as is, eventually slow down and not jerk. In all my years of driving manuals I've never experienced a jerk or slam when clutching in at any speed. Maybe someone else will come up with a miracle explanation but I think you should show it to your dealership, I personally would.

are you letting the gas off before pushing the clutch in? your timing may be bad with that. try it again but instead of pushing the clutch in, accelerate to 3000 and just let the gas off suddenly like would be shifting. You may be starting to engine brake before you are pushing the clutch in. you should let off the gas when the clutch is at its release point not when u start pushing the clutch in. if it feels the same as accelerating to 3000 and just taking your foot off the gas this is your problem. Is this your first manual car because my sister did this when i was teaching her in my beater?
