curious to know what the production date on your 2011 is, just passed 26,000 miles on my 2011 and no problems with the clutch at all (knock on wood). mine was in the june 2011 production run just to get that out there.

Digi, perhaps that's the problem...

The fsm recommends inspecting every 12 months or 15K miles. Perhaps that should read to mean replace it rather than just inspect.

The question is what causes the oring failure.

Found this either on here or the g37 site. Sounds plausible.

Happend to me yesterday as well. Pedal stuck to the floor, limped it home, check under the hood, reservoir empty, fill it up for drive to dealer, CSC gone bad. 22,800 miles on my 2009. So sad.

1st time - pedal stuck to floor - Failed slave cylinder - replaced by dealer.
2nd time - no pressure/sometimes pedal stuck on floor - replaced master cylinder
3rd time - same as 2nd time - they said pedal assembly - replaced pedal assembly
4th time - same as 2nd time - they just replaced the whole clutch assembly (flywheel, pressure plate)

My car is finally back to normal (fingers crossed) but I will always drive scared...

Glad I used the search function before making a post!

I brought my car in for service last week (fluid changes and brake service)

Got car back and it felt pretty good, but then now I am getting the clutch pedal sticking to the floor, it happened a few times on short drives, so for sure getting worse. I wonder if thats related to them recently changing that fluid?

I'll be calling the dealership tomorrow

37,000 km = 22,000 miles

I was going to say it might not be a bad idea for us 6mt folks to carry a bottle of brake fluid in the trunk. Only problem, once its bled dry, getting the system pressurized again is not a roadside repair. If you catch it early enough, sure. Then again, the volume of the whole system is so small, how many pumps of the pedal will it take before needing a refill.

Probably a stupid question but do you guys drive with Syncro Rev on? I wonder if that Syncro Rev system causes clutch failure. I've been driving with it off ever since I had the clutch replaced.

It's not the syncrorev. The g's don't have that and from the posts on the G site, suffer a similar amount of csc failures.

The CSC and master cylinder issues has been around since '07 when Nissan started using CSCs in the transmissions. I'm surprised there hasn't been any changes, but the ZSpeed HD CSC is doing very well for me.

Is the ZSpeed HD CSC the only aftermarket replacement available or are there others?

Just got word back that I was getting the CSC replaced under warranty, but the strange thing is the dealer wouldn't give me a rental. He states they don't do the rental and that it would have to be covered under my extended warranty which means I have to pay the deductible. Is the rental a per dealer thing or should they have provided me a rental.
