So the dealer came back today and told me my flywheel and some other things pertaining to the clutch (I can't remember) is bad and it needs be replaced. I mentioned the CSC issue and he said he was aware of this issue that other Zs are having, but it is not the case with my car. The dealer said the cost was around $3k to fix.

I really do not want to spend that kind of money and it does not fix the problem.
How much have other people paid to have the aftermarket CSC replaced dealer/non-dealer work.

I am thinking if I get the flywheel and whatever other work the dealer recommends. I can also get the aftermarket CSC fixed as well. Otherwise I am going to sell this car. My 350z was more reliable than this car. SMH

Three weeks later my clutch pedal is back on the floor. I have it at another dealer since my car broke down out of state. They fixed the problem the same way as the first dealer by bleeding the clutch fluid. I told them that was how my car was fixed the first time and I am scared it will happen again. They said they will look further at it and see if the they can find why this is happening. Can somebody give me some information on what they should look at specifically? If they can't find the issue, I think I will sell my Z.
I really do not want to but I need to be able to drive my car with confidence.

Stop going to the dealer? Go to a good local shop and have better aftermarket parts installed if you're footing the bill anyway? A good clutch/flywheel/csc should be around $1500 and I can't imagine it being more than 5-6 hours of labor to swap it out.

You are right! It is time I stop going to the dealer. I just need to find a reputable place now out in Jersey.

If there was any chance you could make it out here in Maryland.. There's AAM, they do excellent work, you'd be in and out in about a day.

So my car came back from the dealer these are the things they claimed are needed

Part#
30205-JK40c - Cover Assy-Clutch 787.89
306A1-JK40d - Cyl Assy - Conc 183.50
12310-EY00A - Flywheel Assy 1084.32

everything with labor $3500

I do not trust they have actually figured out the problem after reading everyone else's story on here that has experienced the clutch pedal losing pressure and going to the floor. I still think my best option is to get rid of this car. I have had way to many issues (2 engines, etc, smh) with this car and I bought it fairly new 7k miles currently at 42k.

Agree! ZSpeed is the way to go. I'm very pleased with my new setup.

so i need some opinions, I was going to take my 370z to the dealer last week but couldnt. I priced the aftermarket csc and have accepted ill have to pay.
my questions are, i work at a nissan dealer and they know i autocross, knowing they wont replace the csc at either dealer should i take it in and have it put on file just in case? if so would my dealer knowing i autocross be a bad idea? i dont want the little warranty i have to be viod due to that either way.. so what does everyone think i should do?

If you're worry about warranty issue, I think it's a good idea to not let your dealer know you're involved in any type of aggressive driving, whether autox or on the back roads.
