It's worth it to me :-). I do some work myself, such as brakes, spacers, exhaust and fluids, but I'm not going to lay on my back and replace the CSC. Besides, I got her tuned while I was there.

I consider a day at the speed shop a good day!

Hello....

How you feel the clutch now with the CMAK CSC delete kit?

It happened to me when the car was 4 months old, and now 4 years later and 20,650 miles on the Odometer. I'm considering the CMAK delete kit.

Thanks.

After bitching and moaning, I finally got them to cave so I won't have to pay for labor to investigate inside the bell-housing...should I just get them to replace the CSC regardless? I'll even pay for the part if I have to.

Any help is appreciated...I'm kind of at a loss here. Just want the clutch to feel normal again.
Not surprised. They have to take the tans apart. This is my biggest concern.

Mine didn't fail yet but my resovior was completely dry. Took it into the Nissan dealership and they recognized the issue and said they would warranty replace it. 35k on the clock, dodged a nice big invoice.

Mine went out on the track at Daytona . Only had 22K on it. Replaced with new external Z1 CSC for the next time.

Any symptoms that are typical to look out for? Clutch fluid lower/ leaks/ dirty clutch fluid/sounds from clutch/ Or does it just fail out of the blue and your clutch sticks to the floor?

Mine just left me. No dirty fluid, nothing. I track mine more than street it, so I change the fluid often with Motul 600. Never looked dirty just gets cooked.

its not a matter of if, but a matter of when.. if you're driving a manual.. replace the csc/cmc on YOUR terms, not on your Z's terms.

Mine might have went this week. It has 77k.
My fluid was just at or below the MIN mark.
Pedal had about an inch/ inch and a1/2 of play but not all the time.
It happened mostly at night. Felt like air or moisture in the line. Fluid could have cooked some?

Fill it and bleed it. If that doesn't help, you're probably toast. At 77k on your baby, you just as well change the clutch while you're in there and I would recommend installing the external csc from Z1. Good luck with the repairs but if you got 77K out of it, you may have set a record!
