i have an hks oil cooler. the one mounted inside the driver side fender. the cooler is mounted sideways. reference pics => Google Translate the problem is that after the install, the engine automatically switches into limp mode detecting something wrong in the system. rpm is limited to 3.5k. we also disconnected the battery for a reset. got scared and just removed it for the mean time and everything was back to normal. what can be the problem? something clogged inside the hose? improper install? do we need to fill the cooler first with oil before connecting it to the sandwich plate? bent hose? wrong mounting on the sandwich plate (because there are 5 holes to choose from)? pls do give opinions. |
