I like the driving experience of a manual but hands down the auto is faster. I was at the track with my buddy (I had an LS1 powered FD RX-7 at the time) in our RX7's, his is an LS1 Turbo FD there were two AUTO LS1 turbo trans Am's at the track and they were trying to convice my buddy to switch to auto! So it can go both ways I guess.

Its all preference though and you didnt buy your car for someone else you bought it for you. We have all seen people make fun of stupid mods on other's cars, but when it comes down to it it is their car and it makes no difference in your life what people do to their own cars.
