i'd say around a track too but not knowing your driving experience I rather not go that route just yet :stirthepot:

unless you pulled the trigger on boost yet.

All of us are on street tires, but sure the PSI can be lowered to help offset some boost.

Finishing up house buying and then once that is closed I can buy parts. Apparently the wife wants a house before our little one arrives, so have to appease her before I get all my new fancy parts. Plus she is letting me get a smaller pulley & go e85. Current estimate is end May to have all the parts in and hopefully have it at the shop to install and tune quickly.

Ok..

Here's a feeling that none of you AT7 guys can ever get.....
Spring is upon us now. Most of us winter guys store our beloved Z.
There is nothing better than the first time you take her out, rip it to 7,000 rpms and slam er into second as engage that clutch like you haven't heard her scream in 4 month :driving:
That is something only an MT6 can provide for your thrills:tiphat:

soooo the sound of the clutch screaming aka breaking/straining/not working smoothly is a "good" thing.

i'll make a note of that :tiphat:

That living in the cold and storage thing must suck! I don't get it, what does the MT do going into second that the AT doesn't? Every sports car I have owned before this was a MT and the only difference is the speed of the shift and an extra pedal.

I have fully auto in the jeep, tip tonic in the Benz and manual in the Z...
None of them give me the pleasure like manually shifting. For me, maybe its taking ne back when i was a boy sitting in the passenger seat of my late dad's 1970 boss ripping through the gears...... When i drive the Z, i different person comes out. If it was 7AT.... may not have that same affect(my opinion)

Its because they like spinning the tires, scratching 2nd, banging the rev limiter, and losing the race. But hey they look damn good losing! :driving:

I have been racing on tracks for about 10 years. Since your close by, I am def up for that come summer time.

No boost yet though. Called Stillen for a price last week. I did just finish installing my exhaust about 10 min ago

not at all. track experience is a thing all in itself regardless of transmission.

but to cap this post.....AT > MT :stirthepot:

Can you buy the Nismo in any year in automatic?
If the answer is no.....
Then close this thread please:driving:
That will finalize everything to do with M6 vs A7 or in other words...
Man vs Amateur :roflpuke2:

Can't buy them with nav either. I guess they realized if they really want to sell them is to add the nav and auto for the smart guys. They made the Nismos better from this and yes keep the thread open.

Very, very true. This thread was started in 09 and its still being debated :roflpuke2:

The only way you should be allowed to drive an auto sports car off the lot is if you have lady parts :stirthepot:
