Its a very complicated process for the manual boys to absorb. Most of them have no clue as to what a real manual really is with the little pussy pedal you can push with your finger and a short throw Shifter.

They just run more consistent times because you don't have to do anything except press down the gas pedal

again, just because it can be a 100% fully auto transmission it can still be (and should) be shifted %100 manually....minus a clutch pedal.

Which is a hell of a lot easier to do without the clutch peddle. The car does all the work for you. Its just gay man, admit it already.

Exactly. They might not want to admit it, but people seem to choose the AT because the can't or don't want to use a clutch pedal. I also don't buy the idea that a stick is a pain in traffic. I sit in Chicago traffic all the time and I actually prefer the stick because it gives me something to do. Most of the time I'm neutral in stop and go traffic anyway.

My brother in law is gay and has a M3 that's a MT, I could introduce you? He's a car guy (only as an accessory) , likes clutches and playing with sticks so you have some things in common? :inoutroflpuke:

Urban Dictionary: gay

1. jovial or happy, good-spirited

2. a homosexual male or female

3. often used to describe something stupid or unfortunate. originating from homophobia. quite preferable among many teenage males in order to buff up their "masculinity"

1. "We'll have a gay old time."

2. "You DO know he's gay. Notice his homoerotic pornography collection."

3. "Man, these automatic transmissions are gay. I can't even control what's going on with my car!"

I learned that word in middle school

And I don't think it really works in this situation. There are both AT and MT drivers on this forum that could be described by it :rofl2:

In the morning meeting. I'll go in front of everybody. "Hey Gregg, don't know you're a felcher." and wait for every ones response. :rofl2:

how does having a better transmission make me gay?

it is easier without the clutch pedal. it removes the margin of error in shifting gears. my car shifts faster and never misses therefore it makes it faster.

making cars faster is now gay everyone. guess anyone with boost is :superghey:

I hear PDK transmission is good and shifts fast

GimpZ34 03-26-2015 08:27 AM

I would like to thank Nissan for giving us 2 options that can be debated so avidly!

I have driven a manual transmission for the better part of 14 years and I loved every minute of it. I wanted a Z in some form since i was 12, however, about a year before I bought my 370 I was in a bad accident that left my right arm with very little range of motion. While the 7AT may not be considered as "masculine" by the popular crowd, it allows me to enjoy the car I love, with most of the control I enjoyed before my accident. :tiphat:

Amen.

What a fag... he has an AT.

it's funny you post that since you know who just bought a LaFerarri?

Lewis Hamilton.

must be a huge fag to for buying an AT by the MT guy standards.

TBF, he does have one of two MT Zonda's... but he's just a badass. I wouldn't want an MT in a car with that much power anyways.
