The weather is cool and my oil temps didn't hit 200F on the way home from work. If it's cutting power, then I can feel it after 180F. Something tells me it's not really oil temps because 180-220F is the norm, and the car simply feels sluggish despite cooler ambient temps. I didn't feel lag, but I've been giving it more throttle than usual to get it going. Even a G37 7AT can out accelerate me through an intersection as I try to get it going in 1st. O_o
Could it be gasoline? I've been filling up my car at Philips and Conoco. We used to have BP, but it's not around anymore. QuikTrip has ethanol. I cannot confirm the other two, but I was told that there isn't any ethanol. :dunno: Oil change next week, so if it keeps going like this I'm going to drop it off and have the techs put some miles on it. [EDIT] Interesting how exactly a year ago I never really complained about this issue other than the car lacking a bit of torque down low. It was bad this summer, and that's when I noticed it and thought it was normal.
