the only thing is that the stillen may be longer but the air has a much smoother course into the engine compared to the stock unit which has turbulence all over the place in it. Don't throw your fluid dynamics at people like some kind of jack@$$ with a PHD in buisness that makes people call him DR. Dickface. The factory accordion section, several changes in pipe shape/cross sectional area, and the sharp transition from the open air space in the intake box, to the maf tubes, without sufficient volume to be used as a zero vacuum plenum, leave a lot on the table induction wise. Granted it's better than most stock air boxes but the size of the intake passage in the core support speaks for itself.
