I feel a big difference in shift response and even pedal response while in M mode. It revs more like a manual and you don't feel that plateau prior to shift change that you do in D mode.

after doing some testing today. there was to me atleast a big difference from 1st to 2nd gear in manual. i chirped the tires from 1st to 2nd gear. where i hadnt notice it before in D mode. and it seems like it went into 2nd gear alot harder. which i guess is why i got the chirp. but then again the butt dyno is never trustworthy :P

When the rev limiter is hit, the rpm's will decline. I haven't stayed at WOT after hitting the rev limiter to find out what the steady state rpm's would be.

most of the time there isnt a steady rpm . it will bounce the rev down a few hundred and you will just hit the limiter again. over and over. thats how my 2005 GP GXP did.
