Default Z1 heavy duty short output shaft axle reliability.

Good day everyone,
Forum post newbie here just wanting some reassurance of some sort. Im working on upgrading the base model open diff to a Wavetrac and understand im going to need shorter output shafts. I came across some heavy duty short output shafts branded as Z1 on their website and wanted to know if anyone here has experience with these and if they are reliable at all before i pull the trigger. Ive read posts here regarding their FUCA failures and just dont want to jump on this before getting some experienced responses if possible. If not, OEM has been working well for me so far and i am sure they are up to the task but wanted to save some dollars by considering Z1's heavy duty short output axle shaft. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Here the link.

It looks legit but I don't think you needed. My OEM did just fine and I am boosted and track my car. It is about the same price so go for it if you like. Z1 makes quality products some are not as good as others on the market. I have plenty of their parts on my Z.

Ive got 85 quarter mile track runs - plus at least that many on the street. I flog it constantly.

I put new factory ones in my diff.

Being nervous about these stub shafts, I check them everytime the car is jacked up.

They are still tight...

However, my car is a 7AT, and not really fast.

Its hard to beat OEM parts for materials, Machining dimensions and heat treating quality control. Chances are - these Z1 come from Sum Tin Wong manufacturing.

LMAO, don't be swayed by rhetoric. Nobody has stated any facts to were the stub axels are made. Your Z has many parts made from various countries. When I was teenager cars from Japan were just starting to be imported and the standing mantra was all things from Japan were cheap and would break down. Korea is leading the way in many technologies now so just because it comes from Korea or China does = pieces of chit!

Havent been swayed but agree that nobody has stated any facts. Since I cant get any information I'm just deciding to stick with the oem parts and not take the chance since theyve been reliable so far from factory. If at some point someone with experience with these chimes in I'd more than appreciate it. Have a great weekend guys.
