Something obviously is not right when exactly is your Quaife differential making noise? What differential fluid are you using? Engagement with this differential is not harsh and technically requires no break in period.

The unit it's self makes no noises unless it's broke. The whine is from the ring and pinion. Either too tight or too loosen. Have to check backlash and toe pattern.
