Blown Head Gasket need advice

For me it is easy. I itch real bad when I get around a car burning coolant. LOL

You can use any VQ37hr. You may need a few parts from your car. It is not an issue.

So I took my car into another shop. They told me the same thing but they are not sure if it is a blown head gasket. I was told that I definitely have some kind of leak into my coolant system from my engine but they are not sure what it is without doing more tests. More tests that cost money.

Get the test.......don't you realize the shops are biased? They will get at least $3K out of you in labor to replace your motor. It could be something much simpler.

good luck

Thanks, everyone from your advice and your support. I have decided to just buy a good used engine and install it myself with the help of my friend (that knows what he is doing). I am going to keep the old engine and build that up to a 4L in the future. If I do find what was wrong with it when I take it out of the car I'll let you all know. Thanks again.

Unhappy

Dumb. All that I can say. Find what is wrong first. You could be saving yourself a ton of money. What IF it's not a head gasket but something simple.
