Ya, I will go with Z1.
You can get to the cooler through the grille opening.

19,25,34 shouldn’t be a bunch of difference with the thermostatic sandwich plate,,,works like the thermostat on your coolant
Being an A/T...a 19row wouldn’t hurt there either
I’d have to dig up temps,,,but high oil temp, ait’s or coolant temps will pull timing & reduces power.
Unsure at what temp the A/T goes in limp mode.

When I bought my Z it had the shitmoto cooler, it was the first thing I removed because it was leaking from the AN fittings. The cooler it'self seems good, however the AN fittings and hoses are *****.

I assume Mishimoto just sources the cheapest garbage and resells. All of their oil catch cans are just alibaba stuff they have badged. The only "engineering" that goes into them is in the packaging.

I have a 2017 and you can mount the oil coolers in the wheel well very easy ... I use the stock cooler and a 25 row ... works great

Also ...using the stock cooler with the air to air cooler will help warm the oil in the winter ..on colder days 20-30 degrees it will maintain oil temp around 195-200 degrees

Not sure why everyone hates on the Mishimoto Oil Cooler. I've had it on my car for easily a year and a half, i got the thermostatic sandwich plate option and also the racing thermostat, haven't had an issue come about since the install. Very reliable products in my opinion.

LOL @ Mishimoto. It's like that drug dealer kid in highschool who comes to class high and tries to answer every math question. We all know he's trying to put in the effort, but we also know his lack of effort (in this case, product quality).

I'm one of the people who did this. I spent less than $10 on sheet aluminum and outdoor Velcro. Once the car is raised it can go off and on in under 3 minutes from underneath

I must be lucky too as I've had a Mishimoto oil cooler on for several years and had no issues including track days.

I have had a Mishimoto 19 row oil cooler and thermostatted plate on my 2014 Nismo 370Z since it was new. Over 100k miles on the car and oil cooler. I swapped the original sandwich plate to the rectangular alternative plate by Mishimoto. The new plate had a better location for an oil pressure sensor. I never had a leak, fitment issue, or problem with an AN line not sealing.

Yes, I live in Texas. My oil temps in the winter season stay around 185 degrees like clockwork. In the Summer season they get to 210-215 degrees on the really hot (100 +) days. On track days, of which I have had many, they get to 235 degrees during the session and then cool right back down to 220 by the time I exit the track.

One other thing, I had the car tuned with an Osiris tune. The significance of this is that the rad. fans come on 50% at 200 eg. 75% at 205 deg. and 100% at 210 deg. The car does not cook the oil or run hot.

Here is the Grain of salt bit:
Maybe my car is the exception to the "No Mishimoto" mindset I have read. For me, I have no regrets. I would buy this oil cooler setup again in a heartbeat. Just be sure the installer is competent enough to do this install, if other than yourself.

There are a lot of individual "I have a single mishimoto part and it works" type of reviews... I'm sure their products work fine for the majority of users. Please consider the idea that if a part has a 20% failure rate, then most likely you are going to be fine...but that rate is absolutely awful. Not saying that's what it is with them, just that you are, individually, a sample size of one.

The real issue, in my opinion, is that they source cheap parts with no care of the quality or consistency of them, then mark them up, repackage, pour in some marketing cash, and tell you how great of a job they did engineering them. Look at their catch can lineup, it's like a straight-from-china lineup on aliexpress. Like literally they are all just cheap chinese options. Some of them are pretty good (I happen to have a pair in my Z...non-branded versions), some are complete trash...But mishimoto badges them all and sells them with no conscience.
