I just bought a 2015 Nismo with 2,300 miles and completely stock, and while I was test-driving it I noticed the chatter from the clutch. In the threads I've gone through, I haven't found mention of this chatter from the OEM system. Is this normal? It only seems noticeable at speeds less than ~15-20mph when depressing the clutch and coming to a stop...although a slight sound can sometimes be heard when shifting 1-2.
The salesperson heard it too, and had their service manager and head mechanic take it for a drive. They reported that this is normal. I do plan on upgrading in the future, but just wanted to see what the experiences of other Z owners have been with the OEM system. |
