CV Boot torn / empty - Repair or Replace

For the average DD, I'd say go with option one (after doing a thorough inspection of the CV). Going by your sig, yours is not the average DD, so, with 84k miles, it might be a good idea to to change the CV. It really depends on the condition of the CV and if any dirt got inside the boot.
