New reccommended oil?????

I think most of the new cars use 0-20 to get better gas mileage.

I am curious if it would be too thin for the Z when the motor is warmed up.

In my research I too have been seeing mostly that it is for increased mileage. What most articles are saying is about a 1.2 % increase. whoopee.

I will be watching the oil temps & will post back on what I see.

curious to see how the thinner oil effect the oil temp. it will flow better and may even disperse the heat better? I got this quote from the Mobil site regarding the M1 Synthetic oil: "Mobil 1 advanced synthetic motor oil provides outstanding high-temperature performance and is proven to protect at engine temperatures up to 500°F"

I suppose the most important factor is how well the oil lubricate the engine.

That is about the same articles I have seen. I can only hope for good results. I'll post some results in about 2 weeks.
