Need to ask you guys....what's a good value for the money clutch. I don't track or race the car, just spirited driving. I will be changing the clutch master cylinder and installing a clutch slave cylinder elimination kit from Z1. (original clutch slave cylinder failed at 51000 miles)

Unless you've already purchased the Z1 CSC delete and/or a replacement master cylinder, I'd go with a clutch/flywheel/CMAK kit from ZSpeed and a master cylinder from RJM.

you are close to me, why not go walk into Z1 and purchase their 375$ street clutch kit and also think about purchasing the light weight flywheel. Everytime I walk into Z1 I of course walk out a little more broke, but i know 100% i just purchased a quality part and ill have no worries

I bought it. Installed it. (and a new RJM clutch master cylinder) It grabs to close to the floor. I adjusted the CMC and the CSC and the 2 switches on the pedal and it still grabs to close to the floor (1/4" off floor) - (so close its easy to grind gears) Only idea I have is try a different clutch. Need to know which might be a good clutch to purchase.

change in throw is likely from different bore master and csc's clutch throw doesn't get changed unless the cluth is a different stck height and that will only happen really if you go twin plate. change the master or get an adjustale throw pedal

I have the Z1 Clutch/Flywheel package and mine engaged very close to the floor as well, but it turned out to be a failing CMC (diagnosed in one email by RJM)... you should call RJM and ask if that is the expected behavior before assuming a new clutch will raise the engagement height. After replacing my CMC the engagement point is normal again...

I am running a stock CMC and ZSpeed HDCSC and stock pedal (though my RJM Pedal splurge on black friday is in the mail!)

I noticed 1 drop of fluid leaking daily from CMS. RJM is sending a replacement. Hope that fixes it. Thanks for the replys.

Clutch itself can easily cause engagement point change. All else being the same, Simply by changing the clutch kit the engagement point can change greatly depending on how the clutch is built, How efficient the pressure plate is and how much marcel cushion is in the disk itself.
