A real tune corrects the throttle lag from the factory tune and leaves your gas pedal with effective input over 100% of the travel. This allows more precise throttle input which can be extremely important when racing on the ragged edge of traction or drifting. Having both just means there is a difference between how far you have to press the gas pedal to get the same resulting throttle input. This difference makes some people feel like the acceleration is better, but it's just a mind trick. The difference in how long it takes to push the gas pedal that extra distance without SB is negligible in the real world ![]()
