Injector gtr it is not necessary for flexfuel tune without performance gain.

What do you think about it ?

I think he's directly contradicting a lot of people's experiences here.

The very function of the FlexFuel feature is to detect the ethanol content and adjust the calibration around it. The 2 absolutely necessary components of FlexFuel is the sensor and engine control software that is using the data from this sensor.

You CAN run E85 without FlexFuel, but its not called FlexFuel, its just called running E85. Its a separate tune, sort of like you would use for high octane race gas.

As for running stock injectors with E85, never tried it. But arent stock injectors like 310cc? Anyone know? If so, that is too small for E85.

If the math is done here it comes to be a minimum of 384cc/or 37 lb fuel injectors. When running E85 with the stock fuel injectors a DTC will appear as not enough fuel volume will be available to use because the stock fuel injector size is too small to run E85. You will need 550cc or larger fuel injectors and upgrading to a larger fuel pump is cheap insurance as I have seen several people have their stock fuel pumps fail after upgrading their fuel injectors, running E85,and not upgrading their fuel pump at the same time.

Are you seriously "informing" phunk about fuel systems? Are you high?

Well, credit where due, I learned the stock fuel injector size Ive seen it 100 times but I will never remember since we never use them.. by the time I am working with a customer they are out of the equation.

Is it possible to run a toggle switch for the evap sensor/flex fuel sensor? So when it comes around to smog time, I can just flip a switch and reflash the ecu to smog?

When I run a scan, it shows evap system monitors not ready. My smog guy told me that won't affect the smog test.
