IIRC, FWIH, when it comes to MT Zs, there is an unused port on the ECU normally used by the AT that can be used to input the flex signal to the ECUTECH software.

Pics don't show for me.. but that is interesting. Does it have to go through the gauge to get the proper signaling for interfacing with the spare ECU input? (Which is awesome... btw. Good info) I'd imagine we could get it properly setup to skip the gauge (I'm not big on gauges...so a flex fuel gauge would be pretty low down the list for me)

Seb had me tie my zeitronix ECA-2 into a wire that original was something on the evap system headed into the ECU. Pictures for reference.

On a side note Phunk, how much discount do I get for not getting this badass fitting setup with my original kit Wasnt I one of the first people to ask for help with installing this sensor in line... lol

I was looking at the FSM earlier and couldn't find the ECU input I heard of. I'm guessing the person I heard it from had a non-SRM MT and hijacked the SRM input.

Hi, I want to run with e85 fuel.
Can you tell me where you bought this flexfuel kit ?

Do injectors and pumps need to be changed? I do not wish to gain power (for the moment)

Thanks

The output signal come from the gauge. Innovate has that feature on most of their gauges to use for data logging or to input into the ECU. That opens up some possibilities like with their Dual AFR gauge and bypassing the oem sensors and using the gauge's output for the AFR input into the ECU. Well at least in theory.

BTW here's a link to the flex fuel guages:
