Ummmm.... no. I've installed many aftermarket clutches and components over the years and if everything is done right, like John said, there is only one time you have to adjust anything. After that, it's just If your friend is having to readjust things on a regular basis, then one of two things is going on, he didn't get the adjustment nuts locked tight or there is a problem in the install.
