GTR start button! another alternative..

thanx for the legit SHORTCUT from the original post. Def worth the rep...+1 my man! I got this one done in less than 2 min and didn't mar up my

thanx for the legit SHORTCUT from the original post. Def worth the rep...+1 my man! I got this one done in less than 2 min and didn't mar up my panels.
Here is a useful tip. Buy a mini flathead where it doesn't have grooves on the tip or grind it down, also fold a little bend on it with a small balpine hammer and wala...you got a screwdriver that you can use to pry it out. I will however at a later time paint the aluminum ring flat black...just sayin.

I would wear shoes while doing that to avoid stabbing yourself in the foot.

So I'm probably stupid but I can't seem to get the outer grey piece out of the start button:



I tried pushing the side and pulling it as instructed but it won't budge! Am I doing something wrong?

this may be a stupid question but is the GTR start button just a cosmetic upgrade or does it have any other advantages?
