If you get the Sirius LED strips, handle them with EXTREME caution. I will most likely not be using the Sirius LED "Stripes", however I did find a sequential amber LED strip that I may go with, or old school LED strip. Looking now.
Well that sucks about the stripes, I still haven't opened my headlights. Could nothing be done to make them work, like run new wires from the stipe? What is in that black rubber piece in the middle of the wire section?

The black rubber piece holds a small circuit board with little resistors, thats where the solder first came off. Then it was the strip ground wire to LED, then the power wire. After re-soldering the first joint and seeing this happen again I tossed it. The other strip has not been touched LoL, was thinking about contacting them but I doubt they will do anything since already cut for measurement and re-soldered the first joint. Warranty void if any.

On another note Morimoto and TRS came through! Me being the super soldier that I am called them to place my order, online store said the lenses were not in stock. Called and they were in stock, so if you order from TRS call them if what you need is not available online. Also the Morimote Halos are extremely durable, I test fitted them like 15 times. Still rocking! I started with black gloss krylon fusion, and absolutely hated it. So I striped it back down and went to vatozone and picked up a can of wheel paint color I liked, hope it holds, seems to be doing good so far but will find out when assembled and tested in the heat. Also the paint cap for krylon fusin makes a good mounting stand when gooping the halo and lens to the shroud, I also used a heavy but fitting socket to put a little pressure on it. Heres pics from todays work. PS auto goop is fun and messy, easy clean up
