No covers needed with XB's. They are sealed with resin already. Some Halos (RGB Type) are made up of lots of little squares. They need the housing to help focus

No covers needed with XB's. They are sealed with resin already. Some Halos (RGB Type) are made up of lots of little squares. They need the housing to help focus the light and protect them from the elements. XB's don't need them, only thing I wish would change on the XB's is the color. That yellow/green tint from the LEDs I wish was white. Some colored halos with RGB leds come sealed in resin and don't need casings, there called COB Angle eyes from superbritght.
