That's the Body Control Module that's exposed once the kick panel is removed in the passenger footwell. There's only one place that the cable for the kick plates can plug

That's the Body Control Module that's exposed once the kick panel is removed in the passenger footwell.
There's only one place that the cable for the kick plates can plug in. Once you see the BCM and compare it to the pics in the DIY it'll all click. I'm completely wiring illiterate, yet I was able to finish this mod in a little over an hour, but only because I was taking my time.
