Illuminated kick plates always on?

I don't think the Illuminated kick plates Z symbol does turns off when the door is closed. If it's always on will it drain the battery if you don't drive

I don't think the Illuminated kick plates Z symbol does turns off when the door is closed. If it's always on will it drain the battery if you don't drive your car for a month?
