That unit will only flash the dimmer constant on or flash the already flashing relay and I'm not sure that would look right unless the timing is identical. The times relay above is likely more accurate. There is a circuit board type by a company called Elk that looks promising too.

Just finished installing my EVO-R Flashing light. Too late for a drive and I am just too grungy to get into the beautiful leather seats anyway. I can definitely say that it is worth it - it looks AWESOME. Flashing Brake Light and on with Tail Lights. No additional wiring harnesses or switches. Tapped into the Driver side Tail Light Harness, and ran the wires down to the EVO-R light, The nuts that everyone seems to have issues with came off without any issues - I WAS ECSTATIC to say the least when they just spun off - I did twist very carefully and very slowly.

Can't wait till tomorrow... test drive definitely if the weather is not bad...

Don't see why not... Hookup wiring is very simple, it's finding the right wires in your harness to do so and running the wires thru to the light... I hooked up to the left tail light harness which I accessed in the trunk area, and ran the wires very simply behind the bumper cover and taped them to the backside of the steel of the bumper...

You will need to hookup the black (Ground) wire too, otherwise it will not work (Three wires total).

Just backing plate. There is nothing for the housing to bolt back to once the fake light is out...

If you have a volt meter...it helps. I installed mine back well over a year ago. I don't know if they fix the color code issue but we took it to the battery of the car to verify which wire went to what...the blinking...the running light etc.
We tapped into the driver side tail light and looked (with the volt meter) to find the brake light...which in turn makes it blink...then located the running light. We didn't cut the extra wire simply because it gives you the option to remove and put it on a new rear clip.

Hey Dude - anytime you put power to the WHITE wire, it's going to blink. With the Orange wire being the reverse, anytime you put it in Reverse, you put power to the blinking feature of the light, and it will blink. If you only want it to come on Steady for Reverse, then take the RED wire and connect it to the Orange wire of the car, but that means no Steady On with the parking lights now. Keep in mind anytime you put power to the WHITE wire of the light, it will blink. There is no other way around it.
