DIY: GTR Red Start-Stop Button Swap out

Put mine on my G37 sedan today. Install is way simpler. All you have to do is tilt the steering wheel all the way up and get your fingers in

Put mine on my G37 sedan today. Install is way simpler. All you have to do is tilt the steering wheel all the way up and get your fingers in behind by the tabs on the side, squeeze, and push out. The trick was unhooking the plug. Since I was already at the dealer picking up the button, one of the techs had his pointy grabber tool thinger. Took all of 2 minutes. lol

Yup, for sure!

I told my buddy we should partner up and sell these things to you guys... his cost is quite a bit cheaper. If we sold a few thousand, we could retire! lol

Awesome DIY! One thing though is you don't have to unplug the hazard cable. Just make sure you don't rip it out during install.

Ok the red button matches the 40th. But really why so much hype over this red button. I like the illumination of the OEM better.

I think it makes the interior pop a bit more, but everyone has a different taste especially when it comes to something so personal as inside of your car. Either way it's nice!
