^^yep! We got a fully loaded Z for our 40th! There was also the option for AT7 instead of the MT6! In Canada we got the better version IMO!

I read through this whole thing but wanted to be sure before I start.

I only have like 200 miles new car.

Anyways for 6 speed where do I pry with my screw driver? I'm gonna wrap it with tape then pry at the silver bezel correct? But can someone give me a specific location on the bezel? Also do I remove the bezel below that one? The black one it sits on?

I've done 2 on the 7AT cars now and I was able to just pop off that bezel with my hands. I don't know if the manual one is harder to pull off. When I did it the first time, it didn't really start to make sense until I started pulling things off, then I could see in front of me where everything was and had it done in 5 minutes. I can't imagine the MT would be much harder, but it is possible. I would say just start pulling things apart, and be careful.

Finished mine last night. Literally took 5 min. I just popped the bezel off with my hands. I was worried I would break something as I was pulling on the bezel, but just as I thought it might be too much pressure it popped up....

Just wanted to say thanks for this thread, walked outside at lunch with a screwdriver and switched them out in less than 10 min.

Just did this mod today. I was freaked that I would snap/break some plastic taking everything apart but thanks to this thread it was super easy. I did it in 10 minutes before I ran some errands. Thanks!

Default NISMO install

Writing this while doing install

Don't need a screw driver to get shift plate off. Just grasp ring with both hands and pull up sharply.

You don't need to disconnect the hazard wire, there is plenty of room to just leave it connected.

There are two screws to take out on each kick panel, not one on each.

Easy 10 minute install, thanks for the pics though.

don't do what I did and unplug the passenger airbag warning light thingy. I did and when I was done and reconnected it, my airbag light started flashing on my dash, and I had to take it to Nissan to get it turned off. Disconnecting the battery didn't fix it either.

Sorry to hear about that BUT what prompted you to do that?

You're probably the first to have done that

Not a bad thing I was just curious

There is a thread on here on how to remove that flickering airbag light. I have done it 3 or so times with my car. Turning off the car, waiting a few seconds, etc..

Just got my big red button together with the rear fog light in preparation for my Z's arrival. Good write up. Thanks.
