There's a third bolt (nut actually) on the back of the taillight that you need to remove. To get to it you have to remove a lot more plastic starting

There's a third bolt (nut actually) on the back of the taillight that you need to remove. To get to it you have to remove a lot more plastic starting with the hatch seal. Just keep going until you see the nut on the backside of the taillight area.
