It will lift to six different heights starting approx. Where your lift goes but can go up to 48 inches. It will easily lift my 98 pathfinder. It can be moved but definitely not portable weighing 500 pounds maybe more. Just a thought for those just leaving it in their garage. Have fun with your new "toy".
