as stated in the title, i'm having trouble syncing up the garage opener with the car..... I followed the procedures in the manual but can't get it to work.... I

I followed the procedures in the manual but can't get it to work.... I have a 3 year old liftmaster garage opener. Can anyone give me any tips or advice? Thanks
