Penske PS-7500-DA Double-Adjustable Coil-Over

Penskes are great, but there is competition that can hold its own with them up at that price point - Moton, Ohlins, Koni (28 series), MCS, and a few others.

As you're approaching $1k/corner on shocks, it becomes more about having someone to make one of those brands work for you, vs. the capability of the units themselves.

This is true to a point, the Penske set i had the chance to drive on was actually built specifically for the Z34 track dutties. meaning the car was full interior at the time no cage or other "chassis work" no FI or anything. A Penske Engineer was at the race track with us and through out the two day event smoothed out the correct spring rates and shock valving between R comps, and full slick tires. so I think Penske coilovers for the Z34 are probably the most "track ready" set you can get. not much more work involved in getting them to perform like the competition.
