Default Metal Grinding Noise

Guys,

My car is making this awful metal grinding noise. I hear it only at low speeds.
I recorded a video of it. It is much more apparent at the beginning of the video.

Has anyone experienced something like this?

I don't hear a grind at all, I do however hear a clang "bell" like sound.

goodness it sounds horrible!

could you give us some background info like:
have you been in any accidents?
have you worked on your car (diy or shop)?
when did it start?
any aftermarket stuff?

that "bell" sound is what I'm talking about.

No accidents at all.

I do all my services, oil changes, filter, etc.

It recently started like 5 days ago, nothing special happened in that time frame that would make it do it.

No aftermarket stuff.

It seems to only happen at very low speeds. In the video, I'm not even touching the pedals. But the engine is not stalling either (6MT)

my issue seems to be unrelated to braking. Like I mentioned, in the video, there is no touching of any of the pedals.

Could be a stuck caliper, or a bent heat shield. Get in there and look around.

vertigo,

I saw your thread, but I can't tell for sure if it sounds the same. From my audio clip, can you tell if it was the same noise you were hearing?

Same thing happened to me-

I think something bent my heat shield and the exhaust was vibrating against it or something..

It went away after awhile. I took it to dealer 2 times and they said they couldnt hear it. I recorded too

I could only suggest to lift each side of the car to the point both wheels are off the ground making sure you block off the wheels on the opposite side so it doesn't roll on you and place it in Neutral and spin the front and rear tires to see if you hear it and repeat it for the opposite side.
