The Corvette Z06 comes from the factory with drilled rotors. The rotors will show signs of cracking the very first time you take it to the track.
But several high end Porche's come with drill rotors and I haven't seen those crack yet. Brembo sells drilled rotors but doesn't recommend them for track use (because of cracking). DBA sells drilled rotors, but lists their 4000 series as drilled only and has no restriction on the 5000 series. I guess you get what you pay for. |
