According to my mechanic (that installed my suspension), there is no difference visually in the parts. They look identical. Is there a difference between S-tune and the suspension on the Nismo?

I might have to keep my eye out on a used set from someone that is getting aftermarket coil overs for their Nismo. I wouldn't mind my suspension to be a bit firmer for Autox and track use, but I don't feel the need to lower the car, I still want to be able to drive it on the crappy roads around Chicago year round. So the Nismo suspension sounds like the way to go.

Hehe, today the Z had a lucky day off, I used the
Wifes Forester to get to work. But tomorrow I will have to brave the second half of the blizzard in the Z.

I haven't heard of anyone running the S-tune suspension on their car yet on the forum.
Myself and a few others on here are running the OEM Nismo suspension though.

i have a 2012 factory Nismo, the factory rear shocks/struts were terrible. super stiff and very bouncy. i ended up replacing the factory Nismo rear struts with the 2013 factory sport shocks/ struts. what a difference that made. handles like i want it to and rides way better.

I just bought a full set of low mileage 2019 OEM Nismo struts /shocks and springs for my non sport 2010 roadster. Are the newer Nismo struts and springs different than the older Nismo suspension pieces? Any more feedback from those of you who did the swap?

I answered you in the other thread. The newer Nismo bits are not as stiff as the older bits. The dampening and spring rate is softer.

I'm running the NISMO S-tune "Low Down" springs and dampers on my 2012 sport/touring coupe. I also have the Hotchkis sway bars, and SPL end links. The ride is a little stiffer than the sport/touring was, but I like it. It did drop the car about 1/2-3/4 inch. I've had them on the car since Oct 2012 and put about 20,000 miles on them.

I'm pretty sure. The Nismo springs are longer and thicker wire. In the photo,, the nismo is on top.
