What brand spacers is everyone using? If i do 20mm all around can I get the regular bolt on ones or do I need spacers with the extended studs built onto them? |

Look at H&R, Powertrix, or Z1. Some will argue that the stud replacement type are safer, which is likely true as it has less failure points. With that said I was running Powertrix 20mm bolt on type with no issues for nearly a year before I got new wheels. On a street setup I think you will be fine either way long as you go with good quality spacers.

I have the Swifts with 20mm front and back, during hard right turns at high speeds, the left front will rub a little, not a big deal, if you are not pushing the car hard or going over bumps while turning hard lefts, you won't know. I have the stock Bridgestones w/Sports Pckg 19inch wheels

20F/25R on Swifts that have not settled - occasional rub on big dips going highway speeds (~70 mph). Houston doesn't have the best of roads though...
Ugh...and I forgot to swap the rubber sleeves from the oem springs to the swifts. They should have it preinstalled on the swifts. Last edited by equalme; 12-16-2013 at 02:16 AM. |

Also to weigh in on the bolt on vs extended stud thing, I believe extended studs are safer, but bolt on are more than safe enough. At least for the Z1 ones, theyre built really well. That being said, I have almost brand new H&R 20mm extended stud spacers for sale (4 of them total) that I haven't taken the time to put on the for sale thread yet. $100/set (2).

I just got my swift springs installed today and with me sitting in the car FL was -1.5 FR was -1.7 camber. The rears were -1.5 on both sides with camber arms, my question is how long realistically speaking can I expect my tires to last, and what are the stock spec's as far as camber is concerned for a stock car?

Did you do toe bolts too? You will need them if you want the tires to last a month...
