Swift springs review!!!!!

NO need for me to save. I can buy the Coils right now just making sure I really want them before I pull the trigger plus I am not home to see the car so I am just going off photos and my brother word.

My car on swifts. Iphone picture sorry for the quality. Just for those with roadsters...I would not go any lower. I'm scraping just barely over small speed bumps-must angle over.

I have Tein S-Tech springs on my Z. I want little more low! Currently I am lowered .9"F and .7"R, well thats according to the specs. I know they set and get a bit lower.

I was thinking H&R but that seems too low. The Swifts are a pretty similar drop though. By switching to the Swifts I would drop .3" all around since the is drop 1.2"F and 1"R. Here is how my car sits now on Teins.

Wheel/Tire specs:
19x9 ET15 F & 19x10.5 ET20 R - 15mm spacers in the rear
255/35/19 F & 295/30/19 R

What do you guys think? Will it rub or be too low for DD?

I DD my car and I am on Swifts. To me it is the perfect drop. If you want to be low as possible with springs then H&R is the only way to go. To me the H&R would be too low for a DD as I already drag my front chin spoiler getting in an out of my driveway let alone certain parking lots with dips n stuff.

For you since you show your car I think coilovers would give you the best of both worlds. You can drop it for a show weekend and then raise it up for DD purposes. Just my

I've been on Swifts for a few months now (they've been great). After putting some nicer wheels on, I've been thinking about moving to coilovers. I just wish I had that ability to drop it another half inch for showing and have it a little higher and softer for DD.

Yeah, your only choice here would be coilovers. Just make sure you choose the right type of spring rates depending on what coilovers you choose so you can still have an enjoyable ride.

What wheels are you running now?

Yeah, I've been reading over the reviews here on the forum but honestly, I'm not making much progress on figuring out what I want/need.

I'm running the Work Emotion CR Ultimates... the new 19".

Here's a close up of the rear. That's a lot of gap for my taste.

Wheels look good on the car. But yes, I also agree that your Z needs to be lowered a little bit more for that setup. Maybe I can help you out. What are you trying to accomplish with the car? and how much lower do you want it to be? PM me if you like. Thanks.

Anyone have a bare minimum setup for re-alignment after swift install? I like an semi/aggressive setup. The fronts I know can't be adjusted unless you buy something but I've seem around -2 camber which is fine with me. As for the rears I've also seen them -2 or more so I was thinking SPL lower camber arms and I might be ok then.

After installing swifts I was at -1.5 front and -1.9 rear camber (before alignment at ~40 miles).

I can't remember what the toe was unfortunately.

Edit: Found the sheet

Front Toe= 0.08" passenger and 0.09" driver side
Rear Toe= 0.11" passenger and 0.11" driver side

this is all before the alignment

The springs settled after the alignment and camber when another 0.1 to 0.2 degrees out
