Springs for OEM ride height

Turns out the stock Nismo springs do not fit - at all - with the SPL rear mid-links. So, I need new springs with an ID of 2.5". I would like to retain OEM ride height. Car is used for "spirited" street driving. Any thoughts?

And yes, I know the answer is likely somewhere on the forum. Humor me.

Look in my Aragosta thread, I would suggest 10kg/mm 7in. Swift springs that are 65mm, from what I remember. You can get them from Kamispeed. If you were going lower, I would recommend the 6 in. spring.

SPL themselves can get you Swift Springs. They stock some, if they dont have it, they'll drop ship from Swift directly

No just the rears. Stock springs are around 9kg/mm for the Nismo. The spring rates are posted around here somewhere for the Nismo rear springs. You may want to wait and put the midlinks on when you get coilovers.

Ok so first off it sounds like you have stock Nismo suspension? If so then swift coil over springs are not going to fit the front so your only going to be buying 2 and try to keep them as close to oem rate as possible. If you go to stiffer rear rates than stock then you’ll be inducing oversteer.

I have stock Nismo front coilovers and rear struts. Eibach front and rear sways. Ordered the 10k rear Swifts. Z is at stock height w Contis on stock Nismo 19's. Does it sound like I'm going to have an oversteer problem and should go ahead and pull the trigger on coilovers now? I'd prefer not to, but I can if necessary.

i don't really understand the thought process behind all the SPL stuff and the OEM spring/shocks, but . . . whatever, i guess?

Hey Betty. When you get the SPL upper arms. Set you alignment to -2 camber, +6 caster, 1/16" toe in for the front. The rear -1.75 camber, and toe at 1/16" in. You'll get plenty of grip without wearing the inside of your tires out. Going to -3 camber on the front for a street car is just plain f!@king stupid. That's a track setting that you will no where get close to using on the street.
