I know you said you don't want BC but i've got friends tracking those on 350zs and 370zs with Swift springs and they're pretty happy with them.

Powertrix seem to be a pretty good budget coilover for street and some track use. I have a set of these on my Z31 300ZX.

Also there's a new company with an offering for the 370z called Annex Suspension. They actually rode with me in my 370z equipped with Mines Ohlins ESTA coilovers to get a feel for them so that they could engineer some of that into their design.

I know both the owners behind these two companies and the design/engineering philosophy behind their products. I highly recommend either of them as a budget coil over.

Stay away from Megan, Godspeed, Tein, KW and HKS, the feedback i've gotten from people about those are usually around quality, adjustability and a poor ride.
Annex is a new one. How was the ride? I do like how they do the dyno testing like the others, it shows they are actually putting in the work in testing to get a desired result.

I havent personally been in a car with those coilovers but yeah they put a lot of work into dyno and road testing them. The head engineer really was going for an Ohlins like feel, best way I can describe it is compliant and pleasant on the streets and highways and stiff but in command in the twisties.

Not to be a drag to help op we need 1st hand experience with each coil over there are so many rumors and people bad mouthing certain brands for different reasons. I have personally had ,Megan cheap ones and there double adjustable ones, stance, kw v3, I’ve driven 370z with tein monoflex which are different from tein cheap line which is made in China and there monoflex comes from japan yes a little more money but those ride the nicest from the ones listed. the cheap by and the cheap Megan’s are the same body’s from a different company if you notice all the basic 1k coilovers all have 32 clicks those are all just diff colors of the same body. I’ll have to find the old info on shocks. It’s like girls you’re friend did not like her but you date here next month and you think she the best thing going. So there is a guy that races a gt3 12k for his shocks they get rebuilt twice a season there are people get a few years out of them you can go on and on not trying to start a war but we need consistent info and not here say . lmao not trying to start a war.

It's not hearsay (heresay according to you) when you have a FIA Bronze driver, 2012 Sony Playstation GT Academy Winner and Nissan driver giving you this feedback. Along with the feedback from an established grassroots motorsports program that revolves around Nissans, data acquired across the Z32, Z33, Z34 and R35 platforms. What else ya got?

You like Tein Monoflexes...odd flex but ok.

I have 18 nismo stock susp, front bar. I driven my friends 2010 z with tein monoflex same setup as z1 motor sports spring rate I think are like 14/10 they rode the softest on the street out of all the others that I have drivien.so I can say what it-feels like not what somebody told me it feels like just saying . All others that I listed were on my other race cars. What do you got play station champ

So what you're saying is you don't have coil overs for the 370z but you've driven some friends cars that did? Ok...cool. Got it.

And why would I need to know what every single coil over feels like...just saying? I mean that'd be great if I did but, I'm pretty happy just knowing what PowerTrix and Ohlins feel like for now. Figured I'd skip the less than ideal experience of all the other manufacturers I mentioned earlier. Especially since my focus is time attack on road courses.

If you look back at my previous post I said I'm on Mines Ohlins ESTAs. They are paired with HyperCo springs at 11.7k/10.6, SPL FUCAs/LCAs, Hotchkis front sway bar, Cusco 1.5 RS differential and no rear sway...running that on my time attack 370z in Nissan challenge.

Also when I was referring to a GT Academy winner, I wasn't referring to myself. I was referring to my friend and Head Driving Instructor of Nissan Challenge....Steven Doherty. I'm just a lowly grassroots time attack driver looking to go wheel to wheel racing.
