Default Is a camber kit required to do an alignment

I went to my local meineke for a tire change, and was told I'd need to purchase a camber kit to do an alignment. Is this correct? I am on a completely stock suspension car. Changed summer tires for winter.

No, you don’t need anything. Don’t go back.

Now... what tires did these idiots put on your car??

the stock front offers no adjustment, so I'd suggest getting camber arms if you're going to lower the car much
