Yeah I spotted these parts on Z1, saw the SPL resemblance and had wondered myself. Thanks for the info.
I'm not sure if I like this though. The parts do look cool but it feels like nismo is just being lazy and cashing in on other peoples work. They should have developed this stuff a long time ago imo. |

Let's not get bent out of shape. It is common for manufacturers to do OEM work. I have to admit, the Nismo badge is cool and would not mind paying for it. Nissan could have chosen an established company from Japan but chose the guys from Austin, TX instead. Congrats to SPL.

Time passes by and now Nismo camber arms are almost the same price as SPL, actually only the rear arms are a little bit more expensive. To be honest if I were about to choose between SPL and Nismo I'd pick Nismo, at least here in EU. If there would be an accident an insurance company may inspect vehicle if it was road legal. If the inspect will see label `Nismo` there's high chance that he'll assume that's OEM part and road legal IMHO.
