Default Nismo? Coils? Springs??

Thinking about going the coilover route. I want the perfect suspension in terms of look and performance and the swift springs are barely a drop. I have a nismo and am leaning towards BC coils. Will I be down grading suspension in terms of performance? From what ive heard the nismo suspension for performance is pretty damn hard to beat, so idk, dont wanna ruin what nissan did a great job with, but at the same time do want more low, what are you guys' suggestions?

There's nothing particularly special about the stock nismo suspension

And you're going for looks anyways on what I assume is a daily driver

fortune, powertrix, I guess bc will be fine for entry level coilovers

And you're gonna want SPL adjustable arms to do this right

Don't skimp and take your time researching. I don't regret getting my Aragosta's one bit. Be ready to spend about $1700 in SPL stuff plus your coilovers.

That's some serious contradiction.

What's your price range anyway?

^^^^ Yeap, how much do you have to spend for all of it. Like I said, get ready for $1700 in SPL parts and that is only what you need, nothing extra. If you want it to look great, get ready to buy some wheels.

We can tell him his budget.

powertrix, fortune, bc all run around 1200-1500. I wouldn't go any below that range. If u can't afford that, stay stock and save

So the recommendation you received are solid. You are going to find that opinions are pretty much the same for Powertrix, Fortune Auto and BC and folks are loyal to either of the three because they do exactly what they are built to do. I am no different and went with Fortune Auto because they are here the US and are serviceable and upgrade-able. I literally just did this. I went from the 500 to the 510s and the turn around time was just about two weeks. They were very responsive to my emails and phone calls. I can't wait to see what the difference is next week on the Tail of the Dragon.

Save your money. You will need $1700 in SPL parts not including the coilovers. The stock Nismo suspension is really good out the box. You have to spend a fair amount to keep that performance level.

Just curious Janjua...performance wise, how do you like the stock setup? I am asking because your desire to change seems to be purely aesthetic driven, as you haven't made any complaint about the OEM hardware's performance.

Sorry if the advices seem to deflate enthusiasm, or inflate budget, but doing it right the first time will safe you $ in the long run.

Well, doesn't help that pretty much everybody commenting here has "very decent" suspension hardware lol.
