N Nationals track day set up ????

Ok guys need some insight, I'm in the process of setting up my Z for my first track day, I'm looking into getting some sway bars.

My car has stock shocks and Swift springs, I'm looking at the Hotckis sway bars.

1) Is this a good match for the shocks and springs?

2) Should I only get a front bar and leave the stock rear bar?

I've got the Hotchkis bars front and rear and I love them. The rear is adjustable and I'm using the middle adjustment hole. Works great for me.

The bars were on while I still had the stock wheels (18s) and the handling was dramatically improved. With my current setup of 19s w/265F and 305R RE-11 it is simply awesome.

If this is ur first track experience please dont get intimidated. That track is really technical and not exactly a beginner's course. Also dont be afraid to tell your instructor that your not comfortable pushing the car to the max...make sure u have fun out there...ill see u there!

Leave the rear bar alone. There's a reason almost nobody uses the rear Hotchkis bar, it's way too stiff.

Wish I could make it this year. No way I can wear a helmet this soon after surgery. Just driving can be challenge at the moment.

Personally i would keep the suspenion stock until you really learn how to the cars works and until you begin to out drive the suspension, which will take alot of seat time. I think more focus should be placed on tires, brakes, and fluids. Also making sure you have an oil cooler. Thats just my 2 cents though my opinion doesnt really matter.

I normally run Auto-X all the time. I also have Carbotech xp-10 (F) and XP-8 (R), 25 row oil cooler, transcooler and aftermarket power steering cooler. I was actually pretty much out driving the car a ZDAYZ.. at the tail of the dragon.

Road Atlanta is a different animal Venus being on the street and auto X. Auto x really teaches you about throttle control which is awesome that you have that experience. Your set up is similar to mine. Do you anyway to tune yourself at the track? I want a vbox so bad, but prepping for z nationals is costing me more than.I anticipated

When it comes to road racing I have no idea what setup I need.

Every track is different. Did you upgrade your fuel pump? If not, beware of fast right hand sweepers.

Lol, ya I thought about it... I'm bringing gas cans with to top off after every run..
